In the “Ancient Arches” blog post I reminiscenced about my adventures trip to India. I toured the many shoppes and avenues in New Delhi. I took my camera everywhere I went, even inside the shoppes. The shopkeepers were all friendly and did not seem to mind that I was taking photographs of interesting wares that they had for sale. One shop at these colorful glass votives hanging new neat rows. I love the way the glass reflected the light. The sheen of the metal work make them look very pretty with their shiny specular highlights. This is one of my favorite paintings. It has a palpable sense of depth and the red, orange and blue votives are eye pleasing. I hope you enjoy it too!
